We interviewed Renée and she shared with us the details of her daily routine and some priceless tips to live a more balanced life:

What is your morning routine like? Are there any secrets to having a good day that you´d like to share?

We are not morning people at our house! I typically wake up at 6:30 AM, skincare care, dry brush, tongue scraper, and hot shower! I love making fresh celery for green juice in the morning then matcha! I’m going to Levi’s room, playing some songs by Natasha Bedingfield or Sinatra! I always wake up dancing and being silly. He’s grumpy. I like to make him breakfast in bed, although he very rarely eats it. Get on my gym clothes. He gets dressed for school and off we go!

You are a wonderful mother and you are teaching your son how to be a gentleman. What advice would you give to other moms who might be struggling to balance their duties as parents with aspects of their careers or personal lives? How do you keep it together?

I became a mother at a very young age, something deep within you transforms when you become a mother; The best of you will come out.

My advice is be with them as much as possible, especially in the formative years. Even if you are busy with work or household chores or whatever it may be. Make time to be with them, make them breakfast, take them on a walk daily, sing to them, show them everything beautiful in this world.

Inspire their love for being curious! My son is a teenager now, we transitioned into more of best friends, he’s highly intelligent and motivated in things that excite him. We get to travel the world together! I’m in the process of flipping a home right now, and he’s helping me with the design! We sit and talk for hours, laughing and telling stories. He’s truly my best friend. As far as personal life- I’ve kept that separate unless it’s someone Im serious about, I’m very protective over him. As far as keeping it together, I don’t think any of us have it all figured out. There are days that are terrible and days that are wonderful, it’s life. I know I have pure intentions and a good heart, I do my best. I love genuinely and generously.

What would you say have been some of your biggest personal or professional accomplishments to date?

Being a mother is my greatest accomplishment of all time. My son is my world. As far as my professional life goes, I truly believe the work I’m doing right now, for the children of Ukraine has touched so many lives, and probably more than anything. This strength I see in these children is unparalleled.
